Johan Verbeeck is a Ph.D. fellow, conducting methodological and statistical research on composite endpoints in mainly cardiovascular clinical trials. He holds an M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from the University of Gent (2000) and an M.Sc. degree in Biostatistics from the University of Hasselt (2018).
He has 10 years of experience in conducting clinical trials sponsored by pharmaceutical companies in various medical fields, such as virology, oncology, nephrology, and cardiology. He is a licensed Pilates instructor from Romana’s Pilates, Den Hague (2005) and completed courses in scientific writing (2008), project management (2014) and medical trainer (2017).
Johan has a broad interest in health science in general, evidence-based medicine and the role of statistics. Previously, he has been involved in projects concerning osteopathic education and research.
